That's always a good step.

Ad up all your gross income.Then add up all your expenses.Subtract the expenses from your income and see if it shows your losing money.A CPA can also do things like depreciation, but doing the simple math above should give you a very good idea whats going on.

I'm new to real estate investing, and obviously I hear a lot about wholesaling being a good and cheap way to start/break into rei.

The tool is a good start but not usable when we're combing through so many properties.
