@Parris TaylorI love this post it’s spot on.Before I became an agent, I owned a franchise business, and the parallels between that and real estate are uncanny.

You bring a lot to the table as an agent who will grow and bring a lot of money to your team eventually.

The difference is likely the fees.It depends on how much the equities are making in the 401K and what rate of return you can make with real estate.If you can make 2% more annually with real estate, I will argue that you the extra return will more than cover the penalties and provide you more flexibility with access to your own funds.

I have always liked my private investors to know something about real estate, but I don't necessarily want them to be real estate investors.

We saw it coming, raised a wee bit of capital, and started a commercial bridge lender, That's actually how we got into real estate investing.
