Most brokerages also require agents under them to at least hold a salesperson license, which I do not currently have—but am prepared to obtain quickly if there’s a viable partnership path forward.I’ve started reaching out to brokerages to explore possible partnership or sponsorship arrangements where I could operate under their license and share a portion of the revenue.

They charge $1500, get you into the door, using you to find a deal, setting up partnership to make you carry 100% debt and all the risk, while ripoff 80% ownership (include the 10% for sponsorship to get loan)You definitely can get some useful information from their event but do deal with them?

There are sites out there like PERE and Fintrx you can sign up for but I believe they cost around $20k. you can also check out alternative investment events but you have to sponsor and those sponsorships cost around $20k per event.
