Its a site for direct booking so you make the rules and requirements, you take payment by however you want - cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or regular credit cards if you are set up with Stripe, Square or one of the other processors.

They claim they've upgraded to Stripe but I've seen no difference- they promised a quicker processing and deposit into my account, alas no change.

No booking fees for guests or owners, although you can purchase extras(which I have not had the need to add) Can use either Stripe or Square to accept credit card payment or take payment on your own by whatever payment you prefer.

They also offer damage protection for a fee.I can take credit cards for payment through STRIPE on Houfy, and I charge a credit card fee because I am charged the credit card fee,  but I also give my guests the option to pay me directly with check, venmo or zelle, without the extra fee.I have 4 listings and out of the 48 reservations I have received this year, 38 are direct bookings through Houfy.
