Is DIY cost segregation allowed?

If you're young and able I strongly suggest to swing some hammers and DIY a few projects.

I can show you a website where $8.99 can get you a perfectly good drivers lisence and another site where you can by a complete identity for between $50-$400.

You've just learned something that many DIY investors never learn - it's easy to get bids from companies that charge a lot as they have a sales team.FINDING the contractors that charge a lot less, but still do great work, is all word of mouth / networking.

In a perfect world, owners would understand & appreciate the value of a good PMC.In reality, owners do NOT value the actual time it takes to properly manage a rental.Many DIY owners don't track their time spent on the rentals, thus thing everything "takes 5 minutes and costs $5"!
