Need advice on Next steps

Hello all,

Need advice or suggestions on next steps on below situation.

I had a house renovated last year in Atlanta and was cited with un permitted work. We have been work with the inspector and the city to get everything permits and closed.

We are at the last step and requested a certificate of occupancy but was told we still need a driveway Apron permit which we are working on getting as well
the issue is this process is now 5 months plus. And at this point Im trying to see if it’s possible to rent the house now as we are working to complete the last step to get the Certificate of occupancy?
