What is the difference between buying on market properties vs off market properties?

Difference is one is on the market where everyone sees vs the other being not listed which means not listed. People make money on both. People prefer to find off market deals because there is less eyeballs seeing it but that does not always means it's a deal. I would always look at both. The best deals will be the ones you are direct to owner with which are true off market deals.
