Looking for a mentor

Maria Gabriela Rodriguez
Posted

I am new to investing and currently looking for my first deal out of state but wanted to see if I could find someone to either work for or find a mentor for me in the Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ area. Does anyone have either connections or know where I could go to find other real estate investors, primarily fix and flippers, in the area?

I am happy to either work for this person or just act as an extra set of hands when needed. My goal is to get exposure and learn, so I am open to opportunities.

    Hi @Nicholas L.

Thanks for the advice! We must have been thinking the same because I just signed up for a local real estate community in my area and want to begin meeting other investors in the area.

I learn something new every day and am finding out there are plenty of challenges to out of state and am starting to consider locally. I definitely would have to go to outside cities, and maybe even start with condos for now. This is not where I want to be long-term but if its a way in I'm willing to do it.
