Mold In The Closet

Mojgan Azar
Posted

Hey guys! Need your expertise on mold. We noticed that almost all the closets in the house have a yellowish mold on the ceilings, doors and walls. What do you guys think of this? There’s also a strong smell in each closet. We looked in the attic and saw some black mold, but not sure if that’s related. The insulation is older, and the house is built in the 1960s.

Finding the source of the moisture and fixing along with creating airflow to the closets will almost certainly solve the problem.  In Florida most closets have louvers in the door to add airflow
