Elementary LLC question

I've had my LLC for a while, but for the first time I'm considering taking on other investors. Question is....how do I know how many do I know how many shares I currently have setup in the LLC? Also, if an equity investor wants to provide me with $50,000 for a stake but I started the LLC with only $10,000, how do I give him his equitable stake while at the same time maintaining majority ownership?
