Are you looking to be passive or active investor in a syndication? The resources will differ slightly.
In terms of generic stuff,
1) Joe Fearless and @Theo Hicks wrote a book on syndications
2) @Whitney Sewell has a great podcast that's called Syndication Show.
3) You should network at local REI clubs found through BP and meetup to find syndicators/investors
