the importance of writing procedures

Do you know why Ford, McDonalds, and Nike are so dominant companies? Because they have procedures for everything.

They literally have a step by step guide on how to build a car, a shoe, and a cheeseburger. The  item comes out exactly the same way every time, it comes out at the same cost,  and it takes the same amount of time. Also, it makes training a new employee so much easier.

I already wrote hiring procedures for my company. I'm currently interviewing candidates for a cold calling position and procedures makes interviewing process smoother.

My goal this weekend is to write procedures for cold calling, skip tracing, and deal analysis.I will also make my own cold call/text message script. This will make training and outsourcing easier in the future as I start delegating duties.
