I'm a newbie investor looking to acquire my first deal. I was introduced to real estate investing shortly after I bought my condo earlier this year (first-time home buyer). Since then, I have been utilizing virtually every free moment of my time to learn about real estate investing. Up until this point, real estate investing has been a hobby of mine but, I would like to make a career out of it. My finances still require me to have a steady paycheck so I was wondering, "what are the best W-2 jobs that will set me up for success in real estate investing?"

Not to sound overly simplistic, but the best job for real estate investing is the one that pays the most. Yes, flexibility matters so you can check out deals, but you can always check out houses on your lunch break.

Real estate is a money game. If you don't have the down payment, it's tough to get started, so the more money you make, the more money can save and get started. That's certainly true where we work in Denver and Colorado Springs, where the median home prices are not cheap.
