Real Estate investing From Canada

Hey Everyone,

My group and I were looking to dip our toes into the real estate market in the USA from Canada. We've spoken with a tax professional so we know the tax risks and what to do for setting up a corporation.

We're struggling with what to do next in terms of financing and finding a mortgage lender or bank to get set up. We're wondering if we'll need to build credit or if we've got a c-corp if we purchase through a c-corp. 

Does anyone have any experience or tips if none of us are US citizens?
