Aspiring investor looking for advice/guidance
Hey i am a student, 19 years old currently living in sweden and studying chemistry. I dont have anything big as startup money, i wasn’t born into a rich family but i could loan 5-10k$ with a 0.02% tax for being a student. Im considering getting into airbnb arbitrage but im a newbie in it and in real estate in general so im doing some research and asking for help by more experienced people. Do you have any tips? My goal is to get financially free by the age of 23-25 to atleast be able to grown my business into potentially not needing this short investment method and get into real estate or other ways of investment. Airbnb arbitrage is a method for re renting a property which i am renting per month. For example if i were to rent a property for lets say 1500$, i have to invest into furniture and making the home look good aswell and demandable. The income i make would be from re renting this property in airbnb per night making it for example 100$ a night.
My questions about all this are many and probably a lot i do not know of, first off sweden might not be a good idea to airbnb we pay high tax but if i were to make less than 2k monthly i dont pay tax so at first i dont pay that but what other outcomes do i need. For example cleaning service, will i have to pay for damage done to the property? How can i be sure the airbnb dates will be filled to pay for the rent and gain an income? Im guessing i would need around 5-10k to start this business off in the first place. Any tips please? Highly appreciate all guidance and advice.
