Agent/Partner commission starting out

Hello all. How much should I give my agent/partner on the first few deals? I D4D, call the agents on on-market deals and call the owners. She represents me as a licensed  agent and gives me advice as to how I should proceed and handles the paperwork. I told her I don't mind giving her more of a spread as long as we can help each other and she helps me get deals. After I have done 5 or 6 deals I hope to do a 50/50 split. Thoughts?

This partner sounds like a real estate agent that is doing less work than even a typical agent. RE agents usually take 2-3% of the purchase price. That's a lot less than a split in the deal. After 5 or 6 deals you won't need the advice of an agent any more and I'm struggling to see what this person will be doing for you. You might want to rethink your partnership duties and structure.
