90Day Challenge Accomplished!!!
Hi, I joined BiggerPockets 45 days ago. But I read Rich Dad Poor Dad 20 years ago. I have always been interested in real estate but just didn't have the confidence to follow thru and was counting on a man to take the reins. (2 men actually, ex and now boyfriend). Then I reread RDPD for the second time, then I read Rich Woman, and 1/2 way thru It's Rising Time. Robert Kiyosaki promoted BiggerPockets on one of his podcasts and here I am 45 days later, (WITH no help FROM A man) this morning I received a congratulatory email that the offer I made yesterday on a duplex was excepted!!!! Now I'm really scared to death. LOL, Yesterday I was scared if I didn't get the duplex and scared if I did get the duplex. I had to pass on the inspection because things are so competitive and I am hoping I did the right thing. Feel free to send any words of advice or comfort because the fear is real and now I'm commented!!!
A few things I already have in mind are coin-operated washers and dryers. (Looks like 2K a set) Feel free to let me know if you feel this would be a good investment.
The basement is currently empty and I was considering dividing it up into 2 to 4 storage areas and renting space as well. Feel free to comment.
Lastly, Thank you to RDPD for your books and for turning me onto BiggerPockets. My day normally consists of a minimum of 3 podcasts a day and I would never be able to accomplish my goal (90 days) without the knowledge or courage that RDPD and BIGGERPOCKETS have given me!!!! Now how long will it take for my stomach to go back to normal??????
