I am wondering if foreclosures in general are sought after by seasoned investors?  It seems they would be because the potential price reductions by the bank but I am wondering if there is something I am missing.

Thanks

Foreclosures have become as rare as a jackalope.

You need 2 ingredients: a homeowner who can't make their payments and a loan that is under water (house worth less than loan). The latter is hard to find, because home values have gone up so much, you can just sell it quickly, cash out and save your credit score from being branded for 7 years.

If you see one, it's usually not a deal - everyone wants it, because of the perception of a good deal.
