Hello, my wife and I Just went under contract on a two unit property that to we are going to house hack. I am wondering if you all would recommend trying to get a rate lock or not. Im not even sure what the rate lock would cost but I am going to find out today. Our closing date is January 5th. As of now our interest rate is going to be right around 7%.

Thanks so much for your time, I am looking forward to hearing your advice!
