Hungry Hungry Hedge Funds: Better to Partner with Wholesalers or Sellers Directly?

Shayla McMurray
Posted

Hey everyone! So I come from the hedge fund acquisitions world and have worked with the top home buyers in the country to purchase thousands of units. Currently, these partners have turned back on again (yay!!) and are actively sourcing deals in the following markets: Atlanta, Charlotte, DFW, Orlando, Phoenix, and Tampa.

Our partners are buying between 35-100 deals PER MONTH and it is difficult to find all these deals ourselves. But it also takes time to partner with wholesalers. So what would you do?

1.) Prioritize working with wholesalers and establish strong relationships with wholesalers for a strong pipeline.
2.) Spend our marketing time and dollars on sellers directly instead of the above?

If you have any ideas please comment and reach out!
