Attorney wants to sign "Waiver of Conflict" - Double Closing

I have an attorney wanting us to sign a " waiver of conflict " for a double-close deal (B-C contract). I never had this type of document requested to sign before. I love to hear your opinion on this. Is this normal? Have you ever signed one for double closings or assignments?
