We live in Ohio. What are some dos and don'ts for creating a business name? What are some suggestions?

We struggled naming out LLC. We wanted it to be unique to us. We tossed around several names associated with our pets and our 6 kids. We ended up going simple. J & K Home Makers. J&K for my husband and I's initials and Home Makers because we are flipping houses and making nice Homes out of run down properties. Maybe look at Ohio's secretary of state web site and search key words like flipping or house, home, reno, rental, investment, etc. See what others are using.
Good luck! Don't over think it. Keep it simple.
