Seeking Advice on Investment Properties - Columbus, Louisiana, Dallas, McAllen
I'm a starting investor based in Austin, TX. I currently have a couple of investment properties in College Station and am looking to expand my portfolio. My main goals are to find properties that offer good cash flow (preferably hitting the 1% rule) and have stable growth in property value.
I've been considering a few cities and would love your input on them. The cities I narrowed down.
- Columbus
- Louisiana
- Areas around Dallas
- McAllen
While I initially thought about some of these out-of-state deals, I've realized that managing properties remotely can be challenging. Therefore, I'm focusing on Texas for now.
Here are some specific points I would appreciate advice on:
- Cash Flow and Growth Potential, Market Stability, Property Management, Local Insights.
Additionally, if there are any realtors here who specialize in investment properties in these areas and can help me grow my portfolio, please reach out.
Thank you in advance for your advice and suggestions. I look forward to hearing from the community!

@Ram Kamb I am a fellow investor and realtor working in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I specifically work with fellow investors to buy and sell investment properties in the area. So very happy to share my insights to help you purchase the right investment property here in the DFW area. Look forward to hearing from you.
