Underwriting/deal analysis tips

Looking to start investing into multifamily: start small and scale up to larger commercial multifamily. Goal of $5k in cashflow in the next 5 years. Underwriting seems to be a critical skill in terms of analysis of a potential deal and I want to learn/read the best tools to excel; especially if I'm looking to scale and partner with others that have capital to compliment the underwriting skills I'm looking to learn.

Any books/podcasts/websites you'd recommend.
