Hello everyone, I want to be a real estate investor. I do have a Nevada Real Estate License to be a Realtor as well just haven't had the funds and stability to get up and running but I refuse to give up. I'm working on getting out of debt by following Dave Ramsey's Baby Steps method. I just want to know how to become more knowledgeable about the market in my city which is Las Vegas in Nevada. As far as different principles and habits to build and apply. Appreciate your answers, time, and support.

@Joshua Moses

Hey! First off, big respect for getting your Nevada real estate license and sticking with Dave Ramsey’s plan, that’s no joke, and it’ll pay off for sure.

For getting to know the Vegas market better, I’d say start by hanging out where other investors and Realtors are: BiggerPockets forums, local meetups, even Facebook groups. You’ll pick up a ton just by listening and asking questions.

Also, keep an eye on local listings and rent prices on sites like Zillow or Redfin to get a feel for what’s hot and what’s not.
