Corporate Attorney Looking to Partner for Equity — Legal Support for Rea

Hi everyone —

I’m a corporate attorney based in Silicon Valley (Berkeley law grad, big law firm corporate law experience), and I’ve been thinking a lot about building equity instead of just billing hours.

Although my background is in venture financings and M&A, I’ve recently become deeply interested in real estate and small business ownership — restaurants, local developments, or even early-stage ventures with real assets.

I don’t have prior experience owning property or taking equity in a deal, but I do know how to structure entities, draft contracts, and keep a business legally sound. My goal is to partner with experienced operators — perhaps someone developing a property or running a local business — who could use ongoing legal support in exchange for a small equity stake.

The idea is simple: you focus on building and operating; I’ll make sure your contracts, structure, and compliance stay clean and scalable.

This way, you preserve cash while bringing legal discipline into the early phase — and we both benefit as the venture grows.

If you’re open to exploring this kind of collaboration, please DM me or comment below. I’d love to learn from those who’ve done this before, and maybe contribute where I can.
