Back in Birmingham Nov 1–14 — Open to Connect with Local Flippers & Investors

Hey BiggerPockets Family,

I help run the property management side of a real estate and mortgage company in Los Angeles, overseeing about 75 single-family and multifamily doors. Property management has taught me a lot about operations and cash flow, but now I’m shifting gears to learn and take my first swing at flipping and wholesaling full time.

I came out to Birmingham in September and met some incredible people in the flipping community, enough to know this is where I want to be long term. I’ll be back Nov 1–14 to dig deeper into the market, meet investors, and start laying the groundwork before relocating in early 2026.

If you’re active in Birmingham real estate — flipping, wholesaling, lending, contracting, or agency — I’d love to connect. Coffee, walking a project, or just talking shop, I’d be grateful for the opportunity. I’d also love to hear from anyone who’s made the jump from property management to full-time investing or moved markets to scale faster.

I’ve been looking into Gardendale and Fultondale as potential entry points, but I'm curious what areas or neighborhoods you all are seeing the most opportunity in right now.

Appreciate any local insight or connections you’re willing to share. Excited to keep learning, growing, and seeing what’s happening in Birmingham.

– Will
