Real Estate Career paths in Austin, TX

Hi all, I'm native to Austin and my goal is multifamily investing starting small hopefully soon with owner-occupied, small multi-family and moving gradually to commercial multi-family. I'm having trouble finding and deciding on a Real Estate career path for my day job that will give me more exposure while helping someone else in the Austin area (maybe even work out a mentor-ship of some sort). My current day job has long hours and nothing to do with Real Estate.

What kinds of careers are here in Austin and who might need some help? I'd appreciate any ideas, I've done some research but it's always great to hear what BPers have to say.

Strengths: Numbers, Excel, Analytics, workflow design, organization, customer service

Weaknesses: I suck at networking (honestly, I'm like Chandler off Friends. Could I BE any more awkward?)
