Hello. I am a part time college student slowly but surely on his way to getting an associates in business administration. I found a elective class this summer for real estate. To my surprise completely the class successfully also allowed me to sit at the state exam and get my salespersons' license. Obviously I did so but now I'm a bit confused on what I should do next. I want to get a part time job working in the real estate world, and continue my part time education. However I don't want to sign a 2+ year contract with a broker, because I am not sure how long I want to stay in Indiana, and I know that I won't be seeing any money from sales for a while. I have rent to pay for as well as the odds and ends of day to day life. The week to week paycheck is really what has been keeping me going.
Anyone have some good suggestions where I could start getting my feet wet in the real estate industry. Like I said I am working for my associates and up until I get that my only other notable credentials are a high school diploma, wilderness survival, and the real estate sales person license. Also if anyone has good places to look for jobs please respond.
Thanks for reading
Sincerely Rich.
