Buyer recourse after closing?
So my fiance just purchased a property about a month ago, we knew the property needed some minor roof repairs such as flashing repair, however, once the repair guy got up there he discovered 4-6 layers of shingles on parts of the roof!
The seller had claimed the roofs had been torn off when the new shingles were replaced 2 yrs ago.
Is there any action we can take against the seller even though its been over a month? I mean structurally this compromises the house in certain ways, and is against building code.
