A mentor or advice

I just graduated college and played pro ball for a little while in Germany and Australia. I have had a passion for real estate since I was young and it has always been my plan to invest. I am currently working for Verizon Wireless and still building my capital in North Carolina. I am trying to find my niche, whether it will start off as wholesaling and then eventually go into buying and renting out. Any advice or someone in the area to help mentor me would be amazing!
