For someone who is a newbie like me, how does one finance the very first deal without much Capital? How did you all finance your very first deal? And was it a success?

Personally I believe working hard to save the money yourself is the best way to build a solid foundation to start investing. It is not just about the money. If you do not have the discipline to earn and save the money you need to start you likely lack the drive to succeed. Working 60-80 hours a week and saving every penny yourself rather than taking short cuts is what you need to build a personal lifestyle to success. Short cuts to success are in the minds of dreamers not doers..
