Should I Start Investing in College
I am 19 and going in to college to pursue a Finance degree. I have been interested in REI for the past 3 years and have been gaining knowledge by working with my grandpa who is a REI, reading books, and listening to BP podcasts and reading the forums. I have saved up a good chunk of money for my age and want to continue saving.
I want to get started in investing ASAP but I'm being patient. I live in Houston Tx and want to invest in that market. I know I have to build a team before I get started and have a good deal to invest in.
I'm planning on investing in my first property my senior year of college or after I graduate so it would be around 2019-2020.
In a hot market like this I feel like it is very difficult for a new investor to get started because of how high the houses are selling for. Do you guys think a new investor can get started in a market like this? And do you believe that the market might go down before 2019?
Thanks for the help. And if you have any random tips feel free to comment.

Hello Anthony,
I invested in my first property at 21 and have been ever since. I am 39 now. It is never too early to get started in investing in your future.
I would advise that you find a coach, mentor, or a REI group in your area to assist you along the way. I learned most of what I know by making a mistake first. I have actually messed up so much that I blog about it. lol There is some usable content on there if you want to check it out.
Good luck!!!
