How to Acquire Mortgage as a Partnership

Hi All, 

Myself and a few college buddies are looking to invest in some buy-and-hold opportunities in the area. We've started to do research but are still unsure about the best way to acquire financing as a group. We understand that forming an LLC would make things very difficult in obtaining a residential loan. I am curious if anyone has dealt with this issue, and how you moved forward.
