New to Investing - Seeking mentor(s) - Seattle, WA

Hello BP Community-

I am a recent college graduate from North Carolina A&T State University and new resident to the Seattle, WA area. I am new to real estate investing and would love to learn from a mentor that was once in my shoes. I understand that real estate is not a "get-rich-quick" scheme and takes hard-work and patience. 

I just want to make sure that I am following the correct steps to start / finalize my first deal as well as which investment vehicle would make the most sense.
