Hey guys,

I'm an electrical contractor who works on rewiring and remodeling houses for investors. I am looking to getting into investing myself. I was just wondering how the market is in Hampton Roads area so that I can get a few ideas of what to do. I'm very interested in flipping as I am already involved in this area. Thank you for any and all ideas.

Hi there! I actually attended my first Tidewater Real Estate Investors Group (TRIG) last night that also meets once a month for 10 months out of the year and I would recommond it to anyone. They meet at the Holiday in at Virginia Beach and they provide a wealth of resources for new and old investors from RE agents, to CPA's, to contractors, to attorneys, etc. as well as the invaluable resource of networking and learning from other investors alike. They change up their meeting platforms, sometimes it's for networking, sometimes they have international speakers, sometimes they have a panel of professionals of certain niches, so there's something for everyone.

I suggest you check them out! They won't be having a meetup in December since they'll be hosting their annual Christmas party but be sure to atternd their meeting in January :D
