Hello Everyone!
My name's Patrick, I'm an engineer in Naples, Florida and am looking to buy my first real estate investment. I've been on the site for some time but this is my first post.
I've placed offers on two duplexes but have been beat by cash offers. It seems like the good deals go very quickly here as this is an area with a lot of affluent individuals.
I'm interested primarily in Naples, Bonita Springs, and San Carlos Park - I'd like to house hack without having to drive more than 30 minutes to work.
In an area like this with a limited number of multifamily properties on the market, would you consider investing in condos? I've ran the numbers and they definitely don't cash flow as well as multifamily properties do but it's a start rather than sitting on the sidelines waiting for the right deal to come up.
Let me know your thoughts, I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks,
Patrick
