new life path/cape cod/nantucket
Fellow members,
My name is Albert Swietlik - I currently live on Nantucket Island, MA - for last 16 years I have been working in a lot o different trades - now I'm thinking is a time to make a significant change in my life.
I'm thinking to invest in real estate buy or sell, rent or flip - got 1000 thoughts a minute.... not sure where to start, where to go, how to put my thoughts together - there is so much opportunity in real estate that for me its start to become overwhelming... I read a lot of posts , listen to podcasts, watched webinars and I'm still in a deep hole - not knowing where to start ...
Being said - I would like to start investing in a rental SFH in New Bedford MA area or some small fixer-upper to flip on a Cape Cod. Leaving on Nantucket its kinda hard to find a good location , good deal to buy without leaving the island - which cost around 100 USD a trip -Thats why Im looking for advice from you fellow members to give me some tips - how to become an investor from in this case leaving on Nantucket, how to research market on mainland, how to find a good deals, etc...
