Any advice for someone just getting started

Hi all, My name is Javier and I have been wanting to start investing in real estate for years, but have not done so due to focusing on my full time career. However, I decided 2017 will be the year I start to make my real estate investment dreams come true. My goal is to purchase a minimum of one investment property this year (would love to double or triple that). I am focused on creating rental income through investing in multi-family properties. Any tips or advice from the experienced investors on this forum for someone looking to purchase their first rental property?

    1. Listen to all the podcasts and read all the BP blogs about rentals and multifamily investing.

    2. Figure out how you will finance the property.

    3. Find a realtor who is an investor (has rental houses and/or flip houses) to help you find a rental.

    4. Go see X no of properties a week, and analyze the numbers. The more you analyze, the easier it gets.

    5. Start making offers and eventually you will have 1 accepted.

    Good luck!
