Looking for resources on investing with Notes.

Looking for some help. Just point in the right direction and I will dig through the resources. I am Brand new to investing. Finally at a point in life where I can. I want to learn all I can about Notes. Both performing and not performing.  Specifically, what resources (such as a calculator) and or numbers do I need to study so I can filter through Notes and find ones that I know are good deals based on the numbers.  Thanks!  I am from Spokane Washington.
