Jobs/Work for Post-Graduates with Little Real Estate Experience

Hi guys, I am a graduate student in the Kansas City area. I am seeking work that exposes me to the real estate business on a daily basis. I have no background in real estate, but it is something I would like to pursue as a career. Besides reaching out to my current landlord to see if I can be of any assistance to him, is there any work that would give me valuable experience and insight for future investing?
