New member in Naples, Florida
Hello BiggerPockets community. My name is Jamin and I've decided to take some concrete steps towards purchasing my first rental property. I'm eating up the podcasts and slowly building my library at home to ensure I'm setting clear, measurable goals towards a defined end. Joining and participating in the BiggerPockets community is step #2.
My wife and I have a long term goal of acquiring rental properties to supplement our current and retirement cash flow. Over the next two years we plan to educate ourselves, start building relationships in the areas we plan to invest, and prepare for our first purchase, and pay off what little debt we have in the world. I'm not risk averse, but taking measured steps towards a much longer term plan so I don't mind going slow. I also don't want to miss an opportunity, so if a great one came along (and I'm doing my daily analysis already), I wouldn't hesitate to jump at the chance to jump in.
I'm a father of 5, husband of 1 and enjoy traveling, learning, and spending time with my family. I work in personal and commercial insurance serving southwest Florida.
