Hello, just starting my move towards investments here in Baltimore. Trying to determine the best neighborhoods in Baltimore City or Baltimore County. I live in the city, which has a great variety of options for rental properties. Just trying to find the right mix of properties to make the right income. Hard to find that $200/door rule here without a huge down payment (>25% down to get there). Is that rule really one that anyone follows?
Anyone here in Baltimore that can offer some advice?

Hey Chris.
Welcome to BP.
Have you thought about reaching out to some agents in Baltimore to help you out?

I'd suggest Belair Edison area strong rents , prices are going up but they aren't crazy like some other areas that make cash flow slim to none

Welcome to BP @Christopher Mirkovich Actually I think the $200 a month a door should be very easy in Baltimore city if you are talking row houses. Multi family is more competitive and may not be as easy to find.
the right neighborhood is one of the hardest questions to answer in baltimore, it depends on your goals, your financial resources, your risk tolerance and how good a deal you are getting relative to the area.
