Driving for dollars help

Hello, I could really use some help. My wife and I have been driving for dollars lately and are finding a ton of properties we would like to mail to. We use the county assessors website to find out who owns the property, however, we cannot find out their address to see if the home is a rental or not. I don't want to mail letters to tenants. How do you find out if the owner lives there or find the address of a landlord? Thank you for the help.
