I could really use some help. My wife and I have been driving for dollars lately and are finding a ton of properties we would like to mail to. We use the county assessors website to find out who owns the property, however, we cannot find out their address to see if the home is a rental or not. I don't want to mail letters to tenants. How do you find out if the owner lives there or find the address of a landlord?

Tax records - in many cases your town/county will have an online search you can use.

Hi Dustin!  I get my owners data from Core Logic RealQuestPro-- which is data from county assessors.  You can search by address on this platform -- it gives you all the owner's information, to include their address.

Many title companies will provide you with non-owner occupied lists within a zip code.
