Where Can I Get Experience?
Hello BP! Recently i was debating if i should start and get into the real estate industry by wholesaling and decided not to. I currently live in New Jersey, I am 18 yrs old, and i have very little money. Are there any places i can go to or jobs i can work at to get experience until i make enough to start investing? I have been reading books, listening to podcasts, and reading articles, but i want real world experience. Any help would be great, thanks!

@Cornel Smith the cheapest way I could think of for you to get started is to immerse yourself in the community. Go to meetings, go to walkthroughs, talk to people and build relationships. If you do enough of that you'll find an opportunity to get your hands dirty. Also, kudos to you at seeing the allure of wholesaling for newbies and deciding it isn't the way to get started. Many don't make that distinction. Do you have another job lined up to bring in money for you while you learn?
