Trying to acquire an abandoned House

Ryan Herd
Posted

There is an abandoned house next door I would like to acquire before the county puts it up for auction next year. The lady that lived in it died 12 years ago and I believe the son that it was will to also died. No one is taking care of it and th ecounty can't get ahold of who owns it. Does anyone know what steps I need to take to try to get it. The county guy said something about probate but I'm not sure how or where to go for that. Please help

Only someone with the legal authority to sell can sell it.......so, yog’d gave to track down an/all heirs, go they probate so they had the legal right to sell it. Otherwise you have to wait for the tax auction, They have the authority after going thru the proper process.
