I'm currently in the military and have orders to go to Hawaii. I'd be looking to use a VA load. Is Hawaii a good market to buy in? I'd look to live in the home for about 2 years before my orders are up and then probably rent it out.
Hey Adam! I’m a real estate agent from Oahu. From my understanding, Hawaii is a totally different animal from housing in the mainland. Homes here are a lot more pricey! In that sense, it definitely would be smart to invest in a house here if you have the funds required. With a VA loan, It would be a lot easier.
