Finding a Realtor when you have friends who are Realtors

Any advice on selecting a Realtor when you have multiple friends that are Realtors?  Should you include them in your prospective Realtor search, or not include them (to avoid potential friction in the friendships)?

Everybody has friends who are realtors! A realtor friend said to me “if you don’t have at least three friends who are realtors then you don’t have many friends”! ;<)
