Online Education: Harvard's Certificate in REI
What are some resources for education that don't involve travel? I myself am interested in Harvard Extension School's Certificate in Real Estate Investing. About $10 over 1-2 years. Distance learning, or you can be in Boston, too, I think. 3/4 classes are taught by Teo Nicolais, out of Denver. I like Harvard's modality compared to two other top-notch schools I tried to get a start in: Georgetown and UCLA. I just don't like the whole "read what everyone is writing and comment on it" as a major aspect of the class. That is what BP focuses on, and it's great, but it doesn't compare to lectures, reading, projects, and writing papers in my head. Just a preference. Does anyone know the certificate I am referring to? I'm in Charleston, SC so I can't go to school virtually at any actual brick and mortar joint, save for College of Charleston, I suppose, and I'm just not into guru/mastermind kinds of approaches. Distance learning is cool because you can call up the lecture or read the book whenever you have the time.
