New to Real Estate Investing in Albany Area

Hey Everyone!

I made a post a couple years ago about an internship with Keller Williams Realty. Sadly, I did not pursue the internship there because I did not know what I wanted at the time and also felt as if I was not ready to get into real estate or if I even wanted to. I am a recent grad, and I honestly don't know what happen in past two months, but I have been non-stop learning about real estate from reading books, podcast and trying to talk to as many people as I can about it.  So, I wanted to make a new post saying hello to everyone and that this is something that I want to pursue. As of right now, I am still in the learning and saving phase, trying to understand the numbers from analyzing properties as practice on excel, understanding laws, where to invest, how much things cost etc. I would like to invest in the Northeast with multi family housing and meet some locals around the Albany area. I want to get my feet wet and I need some help getting more into it. I really appreciate everyone's responses in advance. :)

Awesome to hear you decided to jump back in. I believe everything happens for a reason and life happens FOR you not TO you.

My first piece of advise would be to go to some local REIA's and get some face time with some investors who are in the game or have been in it for awhile. You're already doing the right things by learning and reaching out on BP so keep it up!
